Two Bobs sheet 48-275 covers three A-10C demonstration schemes including the P-47 75th anniversary scheme and the 2021 A-10 Demonstration Team aircraft carrying a "modern" version of the South East Asian scheme. The aircraft are:

  • A-10C 78-0618 from the 190th FS, Idaho ANG during May 2021. This wore the 75th Anniversary P-47 scheme comprising FS34088 upper surfaces and FS36173 lower surfaces. The nose was wight and it carried black and white "invasion stripes" on the lower rear fuselage and under the wings. The horizontal fins and vertical stabiliser carried white bands and "8N" was carried in white on the forward fuselage.Large full-color artwork was also carried on the engine nacelles;
  • A-10C 81-0962 from the A-10 Demonstration Scheme at Davis-Monthan AFB during April 2021. This wore a "fictional" version of the South East Asian scheme (which was of course never worn by the A-10) comprising Dark Green FS34092 (incorrectly marked as FS34079 on the instructions), Medium Green FS34102 and Tan FS30219 upper surfaces with Light Grey FS36622 lower surfaces. It carried white "DM" tailcodes and wing and squadron badges behind the canopy;
  • A-10C 79-0107 from the 303rd FS, 442 OG at Whiteman AFB during December 2019. It wore the standard two tone grey scheme comprising FS36320 and FS36375 with "invasion stripes" on the upper and lower wings and upper and lower stabilisers. Black "KC" tailcodes were carried and the aircraft featured large black and white "hog's mouth" on the nose.

Instructions come on multiple full-colour sheets and provide four-views of each aircraft with additional photographs and color call-outs.

The decals are printed by Cartograf and are in perfect register and highly detailed, with a complete set of stencis for each aircraft.

Apart from the minor issue with the color of the SEA Asia scheme, this sheet is beautiful and highly recommended - such a pity it does not come in 1/72!
