Xtradecal sheet X72320 provides markings for multiple C-130 Hercules, one being a C-130H of the 302nd AW, Colorado AFRC, configured with the Modular Airborne Fire Fighting Systems (MAFFS).
The aircraft covered is 94-7318. This aircraft carried the standard AMC scheme comprising overall AMC Grey (Proud Grey) FS36173, although Xtradecal incorrectly shows it as Gunship Grey FS36118.
Markings were predominantly black, although MAFFS aircraft carried large identification markings comprising a number painted in fluorescent red-orange on the fin and forward fuselage - in this case "2". It also carried small "blaze" markings in various places. On the fin was a blue/white/bluie stripe and a small Colorado AFRC badge.
This is a great option for the new Zevzda kit - let's hope someone comes out with a MAFFS conversion soon!
