Print Scale sheet 72-076 covers a number of MiG-15s including one of interest to us - "TC-616" which was the MiG-15 which Lt No Kum Suk flew from North Korea to Kimpo, South Korea on 21st September 1953.

This aircraft carried at least three different sets of markings during its period under test by the USAF before it was transferred to the USAF Museum at Dayton, Ohio in 1957 and repainted in its original North Korean markings. The scheme Print Scale have depicted is a mixture of two of these since it carries the "TC-616" nose marking and "U.S. AIR FORCE 7616" tail marking but does not include the shield carried on the fuselage (second scheme - possibly the markings for the 2nd Regiment of the Korean People's Air Force) or the Wright Patterson emblem on the fin (third scheme).

A full set of stencils are provided, but it is unclear as to whether this aircraft carried them, and there are discrepancies between the stencils on the decal sheet and the callouts on the instructions provided (which comprise a single side view of "TC-616" and a four view with stencil details.
