Wolfpak Decals sheet 72-049 “Back in Black” provides markings for a number of aircraft including Mosquito PR.XVI, B-24D, A-26C, HU-16B, MC-130H, MH-60K, MH-60L and MH-47G, the common theme being that the aircraft are predominantly black.
The airframes featured include:-
- HU-16B 51-7151 from the 135th ACG, MD ANG during March 1963. Overall gloss black with markings in Insignia Red (FS11136);
- HU-16B 50-181 from the 129th ACG, California ANG during 1967. Overall gloss black with markings in Insignia Red (FS11136);
- MC-130H 89-0283 from the 352d SOG, May 2008. Two tone grey scheme comprising FS36118 upper surfaces with FS36293 lower surfaces.
As usual, Wolfpak provide a side view for each aircraft, black and white camouflage drawings and full history, weapons and color information. The sheet is printed by Fantasy Printshop.
Whilst a limited number of post-war USAF subjects, this sheet covers some unusual subjects.
