Another new sheet for F-16's 72-65 from Authentic Decals covers 8 airframes used during Operations Enduring Freedom, Iraqi Freedom and Unified Protector. The following aircraft are featured:-
- 87-0340 F-16C-30 "IA" from the 124th FS, 132nd FW, Iowa ANG, during Operation Enduring Freedom, based at Kandahar Airfield and Bagram Air Base during October 2011;
- 89-2087 F-16C-40 "HL" from the 421st FS, 388th FW during Operation Enduring Freedom, based at Bagram Air Base during July 2009;
- 89-2019 F-16C-42 "OK" from the 125th FS, 138th FW, Oklahoma ANG, during Operation Iraqi Freedom, based at Balad Air Base during late 2008;
- 91-0345 F-16C-50 "SW" from the 77th FS, 20th FW during Operation Unified Protector, based at Lajes Field, Portugal during 2011;
- 91-0361 F-16C-50 "SP" from the 480th FS, 48th FW during Operation Enduring Freedom in April 2011;
- 91-0391 F-16C-50 from the 179th FS, 148th FW, Minnesota ANG, during Operation Enduring Freedom, based at Kandahar Air Base during late 2012;
- 92-3922 F-16C-52 from the 157th FS, 169th FW, South Carolina ANG during Operation Enduring Freedom, based at Kandahar Air Base and McEntire Joint National Guard Base during 2013; and
- 93-0551 F-16C-52 from the 157th FS, 169th FW, South Carolina ANG during Operation Enduring Freedom, based at Kandahar Air Base during 2012.
All aircraft were painted in the standard two-tone grey scheme of FS36118 and FS36270, with the exception of 91-0391 which carried the new Have Glass V FS36170 scheme.
Decals are on one sheet which is in perfect register. Stencils and "stars'n'bars" are provided for one aircraft. The instruction sheet comprises two sides of A4 with a left-hand view of each aircraft, additional scrap views where necessary and a four-view with stencil details.
All in all, a good sheet and well worth obtaining!
