Aero Masks sheet AM72-C13007 provides a set of masking stencils for USAF AC-130s painted in the SEA scheme during the Vietnam War era.
The masks come on six separate A5 sheets and total 35 individual pieces. The instructions are complex, as the aircraft is large and the scheme complex (i.e. some of the colors overlap or are painted over other colors). The instructions are thus in steps, with six being needed to paint the four main colors for this scheme (FS37038, FS34079, FS34102 and FS30219).
Whilst this approach is best suited to schemes with "hard" edges, it can still be used effectively for "soft" edged schemes, especially in 1/72. These sheets are therefore highly recommended (and work well as I can confirm, having used several in the past).
