Xtradecal continues to produce sheets at a rapid pace. This provides markings for no less than 14 different F-102As, all featuring the Case XX wing. The aircraft featured are:-

  • 56-1413 "FC-413" from the 61st FIS ("Top Dogs"), 327th FG based at Truax Field, Wisconsin during 1960. Overall ADC Grey with Fluorescent Red-Orange spine, fin and rear fuselage with yellow stripes on the upper fin;
  • 57-8823 "NV" from the 82nd FIS based at Suwon AB, South Korea during 1968. Three tone scheme of dark green FS34079, medium green FS34102, tan FS30219 and light grey FS36622 with white markings;
  • 56-1433 "FC-433" from the 18th FIS based at Wurtsmith AFB, Michigan during 1959. Overall ADC grey with an 18th FIS badge on the fin and a diagonal yellow/red stripe;
  • 57-798 from the 325th FIS, 325th FG based at Truax Field, Wisconsin during 1960. Overall ADC grey with two vertical Fluorescent Orange stripes on the mid fuselage and upper/lower wings, together with blue/white horizontal stripes on the fin;
  • 56-1344 "FX-344" from the 318th FIS ("Green Dragons"), 325th FG based at McChord AFB, Washington during 1957. ADC grey with a large yellow badge on the fin and Insignia Yellow wing fences and wingtips;
  • 57-818 "FC-818" from the 4756th CCTS based at Tyndall AFB, Florida during the mid 1960's. This aircraft was overall ADC grey with a blue fin stripe overlaid with a red-edged white triangle and a yellow lightning bolt;
  • 56-1447 from the 57th FIS ("Black Knights"), Air Forces Iceland, based at Keflavik, Iceland during 1963. Overall ADC grey with an International Orange fin and wingtips, together with a black/whicte chequered rudder;
  • 56-1448 from the 182nd FIS ("Lonestar Gunfighters"), 149th FIG based at Lackland AFB, Texas during 1961. Another ADC grey aircraft, this carried a red triangular fin marking and "TEXAS AIR GUARD" on the fuselage in place of the normal "U.S. AIR FORCE" marking;
  • 57-852 of the 134th FIS ("The Green Mountain Boys"), 158th FG, Vermont ANG based at Ethan Allen AFB, New Hampshire during the late 1960s. ADC grey with a medium green fin-tip, wing fences and intake panels and a yellow-outlined green triangle on the fin. The nose anti-glare panel on this aircraft extended down to the lower radome in a smooth curve;
  • 57-825 of the 134th FIS ("The Green Mountain Boys"), 158th FG, Vermont ANG based at Ethan Allen AFB, New Hampshire during the late 1960s. ADC grey with a red green fin-tip, wing fences and intake panels and a blue-outlined red triangle on the fin;
  • 57-871 of the 134th FIS ("The Green Mountain Boys"), 158th FG, Vermont ANG based at Ethan Allen AFB, New Hampshire during the late 1960s. ADC grey with a bright blue fin-tip and intake panels, red wing fences and blue-outlined red triangle on the fin;
  • 57-852 of the 134th FIS ("The Green Mountain Boys"), 158th FG, Vermont ANG based at Ethan Allen AFB, New Hampshire during the late 1960s. ADC grey with a yellow fin-tip and intake panels, red wing fences and a blue-outlined red triangle on the fin;
  • 56-1488 from the 179th FIS ("Bulldogs"), 148th FG, Minnesota ANG based at Duluth AFB, Minnesota during the late 1960s. This aircraft carried an International Orange fin wing fences and wingtips and yellow intake panels;
  • 57-833 from the 134th FIS ("The Green Mountain Boys"), 158th FG, Vermont ANG based at Ethan Allen AFB, New Hampshire during the late 1960s. ADC grey with a yellow fin-tip and intake panels, red wing fences and a blue-outlined red triangle on the fin. The wing tanks carried International Orange panels to the front and rear ends.

Each aircraft has left and right side profiles together with small upper and lower profiles, all in color. The decal sheet is in perfect register and the only point of note is that the Insignia Blue appears a little too dark when compared to the back of the other markings.

Another recommended sheet, and timely given the recent release of the Meng F-102A with Case XX wings!
