Xtradecal sheet X72345 provides markings for ten different DHC-2 Beavers, including one USAF aircraft:
- L-20A 51-16532 from the 50th TFW at Hahn AB, Germany during 1958. This was overall natural metal with red, yellow and blue fin and nose bands and a large wing badge on the fin. This aircraft carried black "LG-532" buzz numbers.
The sheet is produced by Microscale and is in good register. The instructions provide colour four views of the scheme and markings. However, Xtradecal have made the common mistake of providing the "U.S.AIR FORCE" and "USAF' markings in black when they should be Insignia Blue.
Please note that the second sheet is printed in dayglo but does not show up as such due to the scanner used!
