IPMS USAF SPECIAL INTEREST GROUP

A much awaited sheet, this covers 3 airframes from the 466th TFS based at Hill AFB just prior to the retirement of the F-105D from service.

These airframes had some unusual colour schemes, and were as follows:-

• F-105D 62-301 "HI" in wraparound Euro 1 scheme, consisting of FS36118, FS34079 and FS34102, during September 1983;

• F-105D 62-200 "HI" in an unusual wraparound brown scheme, using FS30219, FS30140 and FS30091, during April 1983;

• F-105D 62-347 "HI" in wraparound SEA scheme, consisting of FS34079, FS34102 and FS30219, during June 1983

All three airframes have yellow fin-flashes and black markings.  Limited stencilling is provided for all three aircraft.

As usual, the decals are very thin and should look very nice when finished, and I will hopefully be building all of these soon!
