WOLFPAK DECALS
72-006 - P-3C, EP-3E, SU-15TM, EA-7L, C-119L, F-16C,
A-10A

Yet another
release from WolfPak, covering some varied subjects
and also branching out into Russian and USN subjects. This sheet covers
7 airframes, as
follows:-
- P-3C AIP Orion BuNo 162318 from VP-46 "Grey
Knights" based at Whidbey Island NAS during
2006, painted in overall Gloss Gull Grey
(FS16640);
- EP-3E Aries II BuNo 157318 from VQ-1 or VQ-2
during 2007, painted in Gloss Gull Grey
(FS16640) over Gloss White (FS17875);
- C-119L 53-8087 of the 130th SOS depicted
during 1972/3 after being modified at Warner
Robins Air Material Center. The C-119L was
basically a C-119G with the propellers replaced
by Hamilton Standard props from retired Lockheed
C-121 Constellations. The aircraft was unique in
being painted overall black with low visibility
grey markings;
- Su-15TM Bort No 17 of the 365th IAP (365th
Interceptor Aviation Regiment). This aircraft
shot down Korean Air Lines Flight KAL 007
(747-200B) on 1st September 1983. The aircraft
is is overall natural metal with dielectric
panels painted in green (close to FS34138);
- F-16C 86-0263 SI of the 170th Fighter
Squadron, 183rd Fighter Wing of the Illinois Air
National Guard, based at Capital Airport,
Springfield, Illinois during 2007;
- EA-7L BuNo 156743 from VAQ-34 based at Point
Mugu Naval Air Station during the 1980's.
The aircraft was painted overall Light Compass
Ghost Grey (FS36375), with all markings in
toned-down grey;
- A-10A 80-0254 DM from the 357th Fighter
Squadron, 355th Fighter Wing based at Davis-Monthan
Air Force Base during 2006
As usual, for each airframe WolfPak include a side view
with details of where individual markings are
placed, copies of the relevant page of TO 1-1-4, and
additional photographs where relevant. These are
black and white photocopies, with the side views in
colour.
Additionally, for each airframe, WolfPak provide
a history of the aircraft with additional details of
markings and specific colours (with FS595a
references). Details of weapons loadouts are
also provided.
All in all, very useful!
