Another
excellent release from WolfPak. Mark Bilas
continues to seek out interesting subjects for his
sheets... This sheet covers 4 airframes, as
follows:-
- B-52D 56-676, 96th BW, 1980 in the standard
SIOP scheme. This aircraft was involved in
Linebacker II and shot down a MiG-21 whilst
flying with the 307th SW from U-Tapao RTAFB,
Thailand. It was the last B-52D in
service, being retired during 1983;
- T-33A 70608, 95th FITS, 325th TFTW, Tyndall
AFB, Florida, 1980's in overall ADC Grey.
The 95th FITS' main role was as the RTU for the
T-33;
- A-7D 70-982 of the 3rd TFT, 388th TFW, Korat
RTAFB, Thailand, 1975 in standard SEA scheme.
This airframe was in Thailand at the time of the
Mayaguez Rescue Mission and the evacuation of
Saigon;
- C-130H2 89-9106 of the 757th AS, 910th AW,
Youngstown ARB, 2000 in the EURO1 scheme.
This is one of only 4 aerial spray equipped
C-130's.
For each airframe, WolfPak include a side view
with details of where individual markings are
placed, copies of the relevant page of TO 1-1-4, and
additional photographs where relevant. These are
black and white photocopies, with the side views in
colour.
Additionally, for each airframe, WolfPak provide
a history of the aircraft with additional details of
markings and specific colours (with FS595a
references). Details of weapons loadouts are
also provided.
All in all, very useful!
