This sheet adds to sheet 72-076
and covers more aircraft from the 18th AS, which has
now taken on an Aggressor role, and are in the
process of painting up their F-16C in 3 schemes.
Where sheet 72-072 covered the Advanced Flanker
scheme (Grey/Black/White), this sheet covers the
remaining 2 schemes, being "Flogger" and the
standard "Flanker", in addition to an F-16D in the
Advanced Flanker scheme.
The sheet contains markings for
4 airframes, as follows:-

F-16C Block 30 86-310 “AK” “11 FW” with bort
no 10 in the Flogger scheme – the tailcode is in
black outlined in white;
·
F-16C Block 30 86-335 “AK” “354 OG" with bort
no 35 in the Flanker scheme – again, the tailcode and markings are
black outlined in white;
·
F-16C Block 30 86-286 “AK” with bort no 68
in the Flogger scheme with standard black markings;
·
F-16D Block 30 87-375 “AK” with bort no
75 in the Advanced Flogger scheme with white tail
markings.
Two Bobs provide complete
stencils for all four aircraft, including 3 complete
sets of grey walkway markings and 1 set of black.
My only negative comment is
that, whilst TB provide full color stencilling
instructions, it is very difficult to see where the
walkway markings go, complicated further as the
markings are not numbered! However, this is only a
minor issue and easily resolved.
The decals are extremely thin,
and having used sheet 72-072 on my last F-16C, I can confirm that
they go on well and have virtually no visible
carrier film.
So all in all, a very nice
sheet, and very much appreciated!
