This sheet
is not currently available in in 1/72nd scale (as at
March 2008) and I thus acquired it in 1/48th, mainly
for the instructions. It covers 3 F-16C/D's
from the 8th TFW at Kunsan AFB, South Korea during
October 2007. These aircraft are in the 3-tone
blue/blue/grey Aggressor scheme (identical to the
57th FWW at Nellis AFB). The aircraft only carried
this scheme for approximately 6 months before being
transferred to Eielson AFB, Alaska and being
remarked with AK tailcodes (subject of an upcoming
sheet). The airframes covered are:-
- F-16C Block 30 86-293 WP;
- F-16D Block 30 87-378 WP; and
- F-16C 86-1335 WP
As usual, the sheet is perfectly in register and
beautifully printed. The instructions are comprehensive,
with details of the Vipers assigned to the 8th TFW
and there are also some close up shots
of each airframe. All instructions are in
color.
All in all, another very nice sheet! Just a
pity it's not available in 1/72nd scale...
