A
much-awaited release from Cutting Edge, this covers
4 different B-52G/H airframes. The
decals are very thin with minimal carrier film and
the registration seems to be spot on. The airframes
covered are:-
- B-52D-35-BW 56-0672 "Night Missions Blogh!!"
from the 99th BMW, in the standard Vietnam SEA/black
scheme;
- B-52D-35-BW 56-0677 with shark mouth from
the 43rd SW, in the standard Vietnam SEA/black
scheme;
- B-52D-60-BW 55-0103 "Happiness Is Home" from
the 99th BMW, again in the standard SEA/black
scheme;
- B-52G-95-BW 58-0183 "Valkyrie" from the 93rd
BW in the revised FS36118/34086/36081 scheme;
- B-52H-160-BW 60-0054 "Mud BUFF" from the 2nd
BW, in the final FS38118 scheme
For each airframe, Cutting Edge include a side view
with details of where individual markings are
placed and a top view to show where walkways etc are
located. All drawings are in full color.
They also make reference to the specific fit out
of each airframe, and this would come in handy if
using either the DB or Cutting Edge resin conversion
sets.
