What colour is FS 10117?
« on: November 06, 2013, 07:21:20 PM »
I have a SLAM missile searching the net for markings and colours found a line on the rear of the missile, and it states FS 10117, but what colour is that and what is close in humbrol paint?

Hi Eric,

It's a brown and is probably the stripe that indicates where the 'live' rocket motor is.

FS colour server...

I'm not sure what a Humbrol equivalent is but there is an American decal manufacturer that prints a sheet of various sized brown stripes (and other useful colours too)...

Cheers,

Haydn.

Thanks Haydn it indeed is the rocket engine, as its located just in front of the vanes. I think I go for Humbrol 119 would that be ok?
