Fire protection for SIG Display
« on: August 25, 2013, 06:50:27 PM »
These P-13 Ramp Fire Fighting trucks are based on the Maquette Dauze Chevy pick up. The fire fighting equipment has been cobbled together from an N gauge railway oil tank, a torpedo from a Seaking kit and a couple of white metal hose reels from BW Models....

Cheers,

Haydn.

Shame nobody makes a model of the big P-15 truck.  It's one impressive vehicle.

Funny you should say that ! A UK manufacturer is looking at producing a mixed media kit in 1/72 scale but given the expected high cost of the kit (roughly ?80 plus VAT of ?16) he is looking for feedback to determine if it is worth committing to the tooling costs.

So please let us know your opinion ! These CAD screen shots show progress to date on the model.

IF ANYBODY WOULD BE INTERESTED IN ONE OF THESE PLEASE LET ME KNOW AT usafsig@aol.com

Cheers,

Haydn.

What's that work out to in what's left of the dollar?

I may have to start saving up before the president finishes destroying the country.
